Key Capabilities

Adherence to standards - Supports the industry-standard Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) e-learning package format. COACH LMS supports SCORM 2004 specifications for content interoperability. These enable organizations to use conformant third-party courseware and the courses they have already created in-house, protecting customers' investments in third-party courseware libraries.

Content Management - Supports non-e-learning content, which can be any document that can be displayed in a Web browser; for example, a Microsoft Word document. COACH LMS support for non-e-learning documents is much simpler: files can be assigned, learners can indicate when they have completed them, and instructors can assign a point score and comments.

Easy-to-use authoring - The powerful yet intuitive Authoring Tool allows instructors to create courses with minimal technical training; create curriculums and custom courseware with no programming skills.

Collaborative Learning Environment - Provides an asynchronous threaded collaboration environment where learners can collaborate on during and after course completion. This collaborative environment enhances the user's learning experience through support of colleagues and mentors.

Assessment - Provides an opportunity to assess the individual�s level of competency regarding various skills and knowledge; develop an education plan, and access competency-based courses to improve your professional development. COACH LMS is structured around helping the learner improve competencies

Integration with HR - When systems are integrated, a human resources employee can enter a new hire's information into the HR system, and the employee is automatically signed up for training tailored to his or her role within the company.
